IPL Technology & How it works

IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) uses controlled pulses of light to target and correct common skin concerns. The light is drawn to pigment and redness, gently heating those areas and breaking them down without damaging the surrounding skin.

IPL Treatments

Dark Spots & Sun Damage

IPL uses targeted pulses of light to break down unwanted pigment such as sun spots, freckles, and age spots. The light is absorbed by the brown pigment, causing it to darken and flake away naturally over the next 1–2 weeks. This restores a clearer, brighter, more even skin tone with minimal downtime.

Redness, Rosacea, & Vascular Concerns

The vascular IPL setting targets redness, broken capillaries, rosacea, and flushing. The light is absorbed by the hemoglobin in visible blood vessels, gently collapsing them so the redness fades over time. This treatment helps calm the skin, reduce background redness, and improve overall clarity.

Reduce Stubborn Acne

The acne-specific IPL setting uses light to target P. acnes bacteria and calm active breakouts. The wavelengths penetrate into the pores to reduce inflammation, kill acne-causing bacteria, and minimize oil activity. This helps current breakouts heal faster while reducing the frequency and severity of future flare-ups.
